I have
recently discovered the only Asian street food restaurant that exists in
Madrid: TUK TUK Street food It has been a great surprise because they have a nice selection of food
from Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapour. In fact, when you go there you get a
mild feeling of travelling to Asia, where it is quite common to eat all kind of
different foods in the streets: tasty, cheap and all in small bites.
The good thing
is that it is indoors, so you can have a seat. The menu offers a great variety
of food divided in different sections: rice bowls, noodles, salads, thai curry
and meat. My choice was pad Thai, Malaysian Satay and Spicy soup named Tom Yun
Gung. You can also find coconut and mango drinks that are not usually sold in
Madrid.
The decoration
helps you in the journey, the walls are surrounded by lively street pictures
taken by the owner who funnily enough is French! They have been so successful
that they already have 3 tuk tuks in Madrid: Chueca, Bilbao and General Perón
In the case
of feeling lazy to get out from home, they have a wonderful take away service
that takes less than 30 minutes and the presentation will make you feel almost
in the restaurant. The service is called Deliveroo and you
must probably have seen their bikes and motorbikes all over the city as their
symbol which is a Kangaroo is very noticeable! I am proud to announce to my
little Madrid followers that there is a special 10€ discount for your first
order when you use the following code: MYLITTLEMADRID. Deliveroo serves many of
our favourites restaurants in town so it’s always good to have an account with
them, it will become a great help.

I love Tuk Tuk. It was one of the first places I ate at when we moved to Madrid and it was amazing; such good food and so many good memories!
ReplyDeleteMadrid is such a nice place! I was there and except great Spanish food I also liked different buildings that are in all kinds of shapes. Here is something more from my own experience about it : http://personal-travel-photos.blogspot.com/2016/04/view-from-top-madrid-spain.html
