Pajarita, a new Option for Madrid Foodies

This is one of my precious latest discoveries and I am happy to share it with you: Pajarita. I have been already three times, and I am looking forward to going back again! Good food, good prices and great concept!

It is a simple small restaurant with an original decoration, it looks as a bar at first sight. An original bow tie is their motto and decoration theme in the sticks that come with the plate.
It has an original and daring menu. You won’t find any tuna tataki, burrata or caesar salad. It will be difficult to make a decision as the names chosen for the different dishes offered are very appealing. For instance, some of the names are “Madrid Crumble”, “Padrón Poppers”, “Split up Eggs”, “Mexican Macarons” etc..
My favourite is the chinese bread with meat and alioli. I also do appreciate the fact that you can choose the size of the dishes, they are specially made for sharing with friends, which I love!
The owners, who I had the chance to meet are young and hard workers, Victor and Ricardo (Ricardo comes from successful mexican restaurant Punto MX) they are into the latest trend coming out of “finger food”, also quite a spanish thing. I am salivating thinking about it. And if the night is longer than expected, you can also have drinks. One last thing; the music selection is excellent!

Es uno de mis descubrimientos del año y encantadísima lo comparto. He ido ya tres veces y sueño con volver a ir !Bueno, Bonito y Barato¡ Pajarita, es un restaurante que por fuera podría pasar por bar, con un luminoso de neón en forma de pajarita para que no te lo puedas perder. La pajarita te acompañará también en la decoración de la mesa, enrollando los palillos que te ponen en el plato. 

El menú es original tanto en concepto como en contenido. No encontrarás burrata, ni ensalada césar ni el omnipresente !tataki de atún¡ Se la juegan y aciertan, originales nombres como "huevos divorciados", "macarron mexicanos", "crumble madrileño"... Mi plato favorito es el pan chino con carne y alioli. Las raciones son perfectas de precio y de tamaño y lo mejor, especialmente diseñadas para compartir! Me encanta comer con los dedos y aquí o haces...
Los propietarios Ricardo (trabajaba antes en Punto MX) y Victor, lo encontrarás en sala, son encantadores, jóvenes y atentos.  Tengo ganas de volver t y si la noche se alarga, no dudes en tomarte copas... la música es buenísima…
