Herbolario Navarro - healthy shopping

New in town and a healthy alternative to big surfaces, Herbolario Navarro certainly deserves a visit. Take your time as you will learn a lot!

It is a fact that we have been buying food and vegetables without checking its origin and that going to the pharmacy is always easier than researching what medicinal plant might be an alternative to prescribed medicine. My awareness of consuming natural alternatives, staying healthy and preventing colds with herbs has always been there, but keeping to the routine always seemed too complicated. As a result, I kept going to my district pharmacy and the supermarket to buy medicine.

A friend told me about the opening of large new store called Herbolario Navarro, a blend of supermarket, bakery and drugstore that has been in Valencia for many years and had now opened a store in Madrid.

Herbolario Navarro sells healthy and ethically responsible products. Moreover, all the sellers have vast knowledge about the products they sell and are patient in explaining what their products are for. I bought a basket full of eco-friendly vegetables, tofu burgers, relaxing tea, organic pasta and yoghourt from el Cantero de Letur. I also bought free range eggs, which are healthier than non-free range eggs, natural vitamins and quinoa – my new discovery for amazing salads! I also learned more about natural cosmetic products like deodorants, shampoos and masks, and soap for my washing machine!

I felt great going back home on my bike with my healthy basket!
