We have a new place in town for hamburgers! It opened recently and I have already been tasting its delicious burgers, onion rings and French fries. Its name: Buns at Lopez de Hoyos 11.
Quite different to other hamburger restaurants in town mainly because of the trendy decoration. Price is acceptable, your note will be around 15€ and you can end up your dinner with an amazing Gin&Tonic (if you feel like it...)
It’s casual but still classy, nice lighting, not only for those days where a hamburger is the only food you can think about but also a nice place to go with friends when you want to avoid a formal dinner but not a cozy place. I really recommend it!
Referring to the quality of the meat, I was quite impressed. The meat comes from Galician cows well known to be among the best quality meat in Spain. Other good thing about this restaurant is that you see how the food is been prepared, how hard cooks work to serve you a delicious food!
I was explained that it’s called “buns” because that’s the word for the bread that goes along with the burger and the owners also played a bit naughty with buns referring to ladies “derrière”. It is also funny is that a next door Chinese shop is called “Thong” and a great bar for drinks “Déjate Besar”, translated in poor English: let be kissed… so I would say that the street calls for desire!
Sundays afternoon, they have loads of game cards and the possibility to watch films after digesting the food… isn’t it a great plan?
