On Sunday I decided to try a new brunch in Madrid. After thorough surf of the Internet almost everyone coincided appointing Café Oliver ( Almirante 12) as the place to go. I had been there for dinner but never for brunch so convinced a nice group of people and there we headed. I must say, even though fair enough, I was a little bit disappointed.
The table was very messy, the food was just ok, not bad the Bloody Mary but my eggs Benedictine not up to expectations. And pancakes were just plain. It is true that the price was good, 25 euro, but it is not the great brunch experience I expected from comments by bloggers... And you cannot book in advance!!!
My first choice still remains Le Cabrera!!!! (just few minutes away)

My eggs Benedictine (note texture of sauce!! too thick!!!)
